What is Lecithin?
This lecithin is derived from soy and is a common supplement and cosmetic ingredient. Supplementing with lecithin is more common with the phosphatidylserine form as lecithin from soy only yields around 3% phosphatidylserine. Soy lecithin also contains approximately 19-21% of phosphatidylcholine.
Aside from soy, other natural sources of lecithin include eggs, milk, cottonseed, and sunflower.
