What is Theacrine?
Theacrine is a compound similar to caffeine in that both supplements act on the adenosine receptors to counteract feeling tired. You may not experience the pronounced “buzz” of a caffeine energy spike as theacrine is a more subtle energy increase.
Theacrine Benefits
Theacrine provides energy without the nervous jitters which sometimes accompany caffeine supplementation. Theacrine also provides energy without building a tolerance. You can take the same amount of theacrine with similar effect over time rather than having to increase dosage—a common necessity with caffeine.
Dosage
Take 1 capsule (100 mg) of theacrine at a time no more than 4 times daily with at least 3 hours between each capsule.
Synergies and Stacks
Theacrine is often stacked with a smaller dose of caffeine. This is ideal if you are looking to cut back on your daily caffeine consumption, but are not ready to quit caffeine completely.
