Agmatine Sulfate Benefits
This supplement has a motley assortment of benefits ranging from cognitive to workout-based effects. Being both a neuromodulator and neurotransmitter, agmatine can influence mood as well as workout performance.
Agmatine increases nitric oxide (NO) levels by inhibiting enzymes which break down NO. This increase in NO levels leads to increased vascularity and pumps during workouts.
Dosage and Instructions
Take 500 mg to 2500 mg of agmatine sulfate once daily or split into several doses not exceeding 3000 mg daily. Take agmatine 30 to 45 minutes before workouts. Because agmatine competes with arginine, it’s best not to take this supplement with protein for maximal absorption.
Common Stacks and Synergies
Agmatine sulfate goes well with beta alanine as a preworkout stack.
